India has the highest demand for data analytics skills globally with 17.4% job openings for the profile according to the Global State of the Skills Economy Report from SkyHive by Cornerstone.
The country also ranks number one for demand of artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) skills with 4.1% job openings accounting for AI/ML skills. “The share of data analytics job postings has grown by 52% over the last five years, highlighting the critical role data plays in shaping business strategies,” Cornerstone said in the report.
